Neil Armstrong twice flew into space. The first flight - March 16, 1966 on a Gemini 8 along with David Scott. Duration of the flight was 10 hours 41 minutes. The second - the historic flight to the moon on the Apollo 11 together with Michael Collins and Edwin Aldrin, which took place from 14 to 24 July 1969. On July 21, 1969, Armstrong stepped on the moon surface. So Neil Armstrong is the first person to step onto the surface of the Moon. The length of the walk on the moon was 2 hours 47 minutes.
