After returning to Earth on October 2, 1984, Solovyev, Kisim and Atkov set a new record of the duration of the space flight 236 d 22 h 49 m 4 s (5686 h 49 m 4 s). They surpassed the record of Berezovoy and Lebedev expedition 1 of Salyut 7.
