The 90th manned flight of the Soyuz. The 10th flight of the Soyuz spacecraft to the ISS. Sergei Krikalev and John Phillips eleventh crew of the ISS. They replaced the tenth crew of the ISS: Salizhan Sharipov and Leroy Chiao. Roberto Vittori returned on earth in Soyuz TMA-05. Sergei Krikalev was the first Russian cosmonaut to make the sixth space flight. During the flight (August 16, 2005) Sergei Krikalev surpassed the record of the total duration space flights of Sergey Avdeev, which was 747 d 14 h 15 m 1 s. After landing on October 11, 2005 Krikalev's record was 803 d 9 h 38 m 11 s (19281 h 38 m 11 s). This record lasted until June 28, 2015, when he was surpassed by Gennady Padalka.
