At this time at the station Mir were Vasily Tsibliyev, Alexander Lazutkin (Soyuz TM-25) and Jerry Linenger (USA). Jerry Linenger returned to Earth on Atlantis STS-84. Michael Foell stayed at Mir Station and returned to Earth on September 25, 1997 on Atlantis STS-86.
