Oleg Novitsky, Peggy Whitson and Thomas Pesquet joined Sergei Ryzhikov, Robert Kimbro and Andrei Borisenko in the 50th crew of the ISS. During the flight (April 25, 2017) Peggy Whitson surpassed the record of the cumulative time in space among American astronauts, which belonged to Jeffrey Williams (534 days 2 hours 49 minutes).
